Ex-NSA Director: Enemy Intelligence Likely Read Hillary Clinton's Emails, Bill Warns Trump Against Prosecution Even Though Trump Got SWATTED for Less

Playing the rubes with words again, Slick Willy AKA "depends on what you mean by "is"" Billy Boy Clinton has warned, that's right, warned President Trump to not even think about going after Hillary for EmailGate.

Remember that's the time that then FBI Director Comey revealed how little he knows about the law by saying Hillary had no "intent" to do anything illegal, as if when you get stopped for speeding, all you have to say is "Officer I didn't mean to speed."  You'd get a friendly smile and a nodding appreciation of your respect for the posted limit.  Then he'd hand you your speeding ticket.

The fact that Harold Thomas Martin III did not harbor any ill intent either when he took home "highly classified information of the United States," according to an FBI press release, did not help when when it came time for him to be sentenced to nine years in federal prison.

Mr. Martin would be getting out of prison right about now, as Trump's second term begins and Bill warns Trump not to prosecute his wife.

"The documents found in Martin’s home were currently and properly classified top secret according to an “original classification authority.” Clinton’s emails are also currently classified Top Secret according to an original classification authority, and that is the reason the State Department is currently refusing to release some of them.

Why did Hillary Clinton get special treatment that a normal citizen like Mr. Martin would not get?

Martin’s home and vehicle were not an “authorized location” for the storage of classified information. But neither was Clinton’s email server an “authorized location” for the storage of classified information."

The "intent thing" is settled law, first year law school stuff.  As Comey no doubt fully well knows, it doesn't matter if you intended to break the law or not.  As a blogger wrote:

"The drunk driver does not get into their car intending to get in a car accident injuring or killing someone. They just want to go home. The law says it is unlawful to drive under the influence. It was unlawful for Clinton to store data in an unsecure server. This one was in her home. "

Far worse than the Comey lie about intent is the certainty, according to former NSA Director Michael Hayden, that Hillary did real damage to the national security by giving foreign intelligence services, such as Iran's, Russia's, China's, and North Korea's, access to the inner workings of the US State Department.

"I would lose all respect for a whole bunch of foreign intelligence agencies if they weren't sitting back, paging through the emails,"

“it is possible that hostile actors gained access to Secretary Clinton’s personal email account.”

Huffington Post reported in December 2024:

"Bill Clinton on Wednesday said it’d be a “fool’s errand” for President-elect Donald Trump and his FBI director pick Kash Patel to target his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

“I hope he won’t do that,” said Bill Clinton of Trump in an appearance on “The View.”"

Clinton then flat-out lied.  He said Hillary exchanged “exactly zero classified emails on her personal device.”

But the FBI's Comey said in 2016 that Hillary’s servers contained:

“110 e-mails in 52 email chains … determined by the owning agency to contain classified information at the time they were sent or received.”

So the question remains open.  Is Trump intimidated by the Clintons?  Trump kept a bunch of supposedly sensitive paper files at his Mar-a-Lago home, and  was raided by the  FBI for it.   Trump was subjected to the humiliating specter of FBI agents pawing through his wife's underwear.  Melania says she threw them all out afterwards.

But Hillary actually showed world intelligence agencies the kind of information they drool for, to take advantage of it in negotiations and policy.

Former NSA Director Hayden said to USA Today:
"How much energy would I expend if I were still director of the National Security Agency and someone told me I could get access to the unclassified email server of [Russian Foreign Minister] Sergei Lavrov? I'd move heaven and Earth to do that."
